Vertigo Treatment in Mableton, Georgia for movement-related dizziness

Vertigo treatment focuses on what happens when dizziness starts, including position changes, head motion, or shifts in balance. The visit is for people who want a careful review before choosing a care plan.

Our team starts with a new patient intake and health history. We consider the symptoms, examination findings, and recovery goals together. This page is for patients deciding whether a chiropractic evaluation fits their concerns, not for people with signs of a medical emergency.

Care may include chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation, neuromuscular therapies, massage therapy, or therapeutic exercise. Diagnostic services, including 3D X-ray technology, may be considered when clinically appropriate. Results vary, so we explain findings before recommending the next step.

  • Note when dizziness starts and which movements bring it.
  • Bring relevant health information and details about past injuries.
  • Ask how examination findings shape the personalized treatment plan.
  • Seek medical care first for sudden or severe warning signs.

How we approach movement-related dizziness

Start with the symptom pattern

Your symptom history guides the first discussion. We ask what movement brings on dizziness and connect that detail with the examination.

Explain the care decision

Clear treatment recommendations show why chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation, or therapeutic exercise may fit the findings. Free consultations help you discuss your concerns before choosing care.

Know when another service fits

Chiropractic care is not the right first service for every cause of dizziness. Sudden neurological symptoms, fainting, chest pain, or severe illness need urgent medical evaluation.

A situation this service fits

A person who feels dizzy when rolling in bed or rising from a chair may want more than a general pain visit. We review the movement pattern, balance concerns, and eye responses before discussing whether chiropractic care fits.

Process

How we assess and plan care for dizziness

1

Record the symptom history

We document when dizziness starts, which movements trigger it, and how it affects daily activity.

2

Check balance and eye movements

We examine balance, mobility, and eye movement responses to understand the concern more clearly.

3

Review the examination findings

We explain the findings and discuss whether chiropractic care, rehabilitation, or another service fits.

4

Build the care plan

We create a personalized treatment plan that may include adjustments, neuromuscular therapy, massage therapy, or therapeutic exercise.

5

Track the recovery plan

We review progress and adjust the plan when your symptoms, function, or goals change.

After our auto accident, my husband and I were looking for somewhere that could actually help us get back on track, and this was it. I’ll admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the staff and doctors quickly proved me wrong. The doctors are incredibly personable and took the time to communicate every step of our treatment plan clearly. It’s rare to find a clinic that balances professional expertise with such a welcoming, "human" touch. It's always great when the staff remembers your names, your preferences, and makes the process enjoyable. Truly great people to deal with!

Questions about dizziness, balance, and chiropractic care

What should I expect during vertigo treatment?

Position changes guide the first vertigo visit, along with symptom history, balance testing, and eye movement review. Arrowhead Clinic - Lithia Springs starts with an intake and examination, then explains the findings. Your plan may include chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation, or therapeutic exercise when those services fit. Sudden severe symptoms need medical attention before routine chiropractic care.

How do I prepare for a first dizziness visit?

A symptom record helps us understand your dizziness before care is planned. Note when symptoms begin, which movements trigger them, and whether neck pain or an injury is involved. Bring relevant health information and a list of current concerns. Our team uses that history during the new patient intake and examination.

Which symptoms mean chiropractic care may not fit?

Sudden weakness, trouble speaking, fainting, chest pain, or severe new symptoms need urgent medical evaluation. Chiropractic care may fit movement-related dizziness after an examination, but it does not replace emergency care. We review your history and findings, and we explain when another medical service should handle the concern.

Why might an examination include eye movement checks?

Eye movement checks help us review how your visual and balance systems respond during symptoms. The findings are one part of the examination, not a stand-alone diagnosis. We consider them with your history, mobility, and other concerns. That broader review helps us decide whether chiropractic care is appropriate.

What changes the cost of care for dizziness?

The recommended services change the cost of care for dizziness. A plan with adjustments differs from one that also includes rehabilitation, massage therapy, therapeutic exercise, or diagnostic services. We discuss the findings and recommended services during a consultation. Free Consultations give you a chance to ask questions before choosing care.

Can an injury affect how dizziness is assessed?

An injury can change the symptom history and examination focus. Car, truck, motorcycle, rideshare, sports, workplace, and slip-and-fall injuries may involve neck pain, mobility concerns, or other symptoms. We record the injury details and review the current findings before recommending chiropractic care or rehabilitation.
