Work injury care for Brookhaven patients

Work injury treatment helps people whose jobs have led to pain, strain, reduced movement, or an accident-related injury. Our care may fit workplace injuries involving the back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, or other joints.

The key decision is whether your symptoms need focused injury care or a different medical service. We review your health history, examine movement, and discuss your recovery goals before recommending a plan. Individual response differs, and some conditions may need referral to another medical provider.

We also help with personal injury cases and insurance claim questions when those needs follow an injury.

  • Bring any available injury records, claim details, and prior imaging.
  • Describe when symptoms began and which work tasks affect them.
  • Ask how adjustments, rehabilitation, and home exercises fit together.
  • Discuss workers compensation or other insurance information during intake.

Process

Steps in a workplace injury visit

1

Complete the new patient intake

We record your health history, symptoms, work concerns, and available insurance or claim information.

2

Review movement and injury findings

We perform an examination and consider X-rays when clinical findings make imaging appropriate.

3

Explain the report of findings

We discuss what the examination shows and answer questions about the recommended care.

4

Build the treatment plan

We may combine spinal adjustments, manual therapy, rehabilitation, stretching, and cold therapy based on your goals.

5

Check progress during care

Progress re-examinations help us review your response and discuss whether the plan needs adjustment.

A client scenario this service addresses

A warehouse, office, or service worker may develop back pain after lifting, repeated movement, or a sudden strain. We review the work task, examine movement, and build care around the findings instead of treating the job title alone.

How our work injury care fits your needs

Treatment follows the examination

Our recommendations follow your medical history, examination findings, and recovery goals. We explain why each part of the plan may help.

Several care methods work together

A plan may combine spinal adjustments, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, massage therapy, or neuromuscular therapy. The mix depends on your symptoms and findings.

Know when another service fits

This care is not the right choice for every condition. Severe symptoms, suspected fractures, or concerns needing hospital care require appropriate medical evaluation.

Workplace recovery methods compared

These methods address different parts of recovery, so the examination helps determine which options fit.

After our auto accident, my husband and I were looking for somewhere that could actually help us get back on track, and this was it. I’ll admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the staff and doctors quickly proved me wrong. The doctors are incredibly personable and took the time to communicate every step of our treatment plan clearly. It’s rare to find a clinic that balances professional expertise with such a welcoming, "human" touch. It's always great when the staff remembers your names, your preferences, and makes the process enjoyable. Truly great people to deal with!

Questions about workplace injury recovery

What treatments may support recovery after a work injury for Work Injury Treatment?

Therapeutic exercise may support recovery after a work injury by improving movement and task tolerance. The mix follows your health history, examination findings, and recovery goals. Individual response differs, so we review progress and explain any recommended changes.

How does the first workplace injury appointment work?

The first appointment includes an intake, health history review, examination, and discussion of your recovery goals. We ask how the injury happened and which work tasks affect symptoms. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated. After reviewing the findings, we explain the care plan and answer questions about insurance or claim records.

Which symptoms may fit chiropractic injury care?

Back pain, neck pain, whiplash, sciatica, joint pain, and mobility concerns may fit chiropractic injury care. Our team also sees people with headaches or migraines linked to musculoskeletal strain. A clinical examination helps decide whether this service fits. Severe symptoms or suspected conditions needing hospital care require appropriate medical evaluation.

When should I bring workers compensation information?

Workers compensation information should be shared during intake when the injury relates to your job. Claim details help us understand the treatment request and organize questions about coverage. Bring available records, employer claim information, and prior imaging. We can also discuss insurance benefits verification and personal injury claim support.

Why might treatment include both adjustments and exercise?

Adjustments address joint movement, while exercise helps build active control and mobility. Combining them may support different parts of recovery when examination findings call for both. Manual therapy, massage therapy, or cold therapy may also fit the plan. Your response guides later recommendations, and results vary between patients.

What changes the cost of workplace injury care for Work Injury Treatment?

Assessment needs, imaging, recommended services, and insurance claim details change the cost of workplace injury care. We discuss the planned services before treatment decisions are made. Free Consultations provide a chance to review the injury and ask questions. We don't state a work injury price without assessing the requested care.

Can I walk in for a workplace injury visit?

Same-day appointments are also offered, subject to appointment availability. Bring any injury records and insurance or claim information you have. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM and closed on weekends.
