Chiropractic care, therapeutic exercise, massage therapy, and other services may support recovery when they fit your findings. Individual response differs, so your care plan is based on your examination and goals.

Work Injury Treatment in Austell for Workplace Injury Evaluation

Work injury treatment is for people whose job has led to pain, reduced motion, or a new injury. The first decision is whether your symptoms fit chiropractic and rehabilitative care or need another type of medical attention.

A workplace injury evaluation looks at how the problem affects movement and function. We review the work event, current symptoms, health history, and recovery goals before discussing care. This page focuses on that evaluation, not only on treatment after an accident.

Care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, massage therapy, or diagnostic services. Results vary, and some conditions need referral or medical care outside our scope.

  • Describe when the workplace injury happened and which task caused symptoms.
  • Bring any available injury records, imaging reports, or claim information.
  • Tell us which movements, work tasks, or positions increase your symptoms.
  • Ask how examination findings relate to the proposed treatment plan.

Process

Steps for Evaluating a Workplace Injury

1

Record the Injury History

We document the work event, symptoms, prior health history, and tasks that affect your pain.

2

Check Movement and Posture

Movement testing and a posture assessment show how the injury affects joint motion and daily function.

3

Measure Strength and Function

Strength testing helps identify limits that may affect lifting, walking, reaching, or other work demands.

4

Review Imaging When Indicated

We review available images and consider diagnostic services, including 3D X-ray technology, when clinically indicated.

5

Explain the Care Plan

We discuss the findings and recommend chiropractic care, rehabilitation, or another next step that matches your goals.

Why Patients Choose This Approach to Workplace Injury Care

Findings before treatment choices

We base recommendations on your health history, examination findings, and recovery goals. The first visit is the wrong fit when symptoms need urgent medical care outside chiropractic treatment.

Several care tools in one plan

A plan may combine chiropractic adjustments with massage therapy, neuromuscular therapy, or therapeutic exercise. Each service has a different role, so we explain why it is included.

Guidance for injury paperwork

Work-related injuries often involve claim forms and records. We offer assistance with insurance claims and coordinate with personal injury attorneys for qualifying accident-related cases.

I had an excellent experience at this chiropractic office. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable. The chiropractor took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my treatment plan, and answered all of my questions. After my adjustment, I noticed a significant improvement in my pain and mobility. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention I received and never felt rushed during my appointment. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective chiropractic care.

After our auto accident, my husband and I were looking for somewhere that could actually help us get back on track, and this was it. I’ll admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the staff and doctors quickly proved me wrong. The doctors are incredibly personable and took the time to communicate every step of our treatment plan clearly. It’s rare to find a clinic that balances professional expertise with such a welcoming, "human" touch. It's always great when the staff remembers your names, your preferences, and makes the process enjoyable. Truly great people to deal with!

Questions About Workplace Injury Care

How is a workplace injury evaluated?

Movement testing shows how a workplace injury affects motion and function. We also review your medical history, posture, strength, symptoms, and work tasks. Imaging may be reviewed or recommended when clinically indicated. Arrowhead Clinic - Lithia Springs then explains the findings and outlines care options that match your recovery goals.

What should I bring to the first appointment for Work Injury Treatment?

Your injury details, available medical records, imaging reports, and claim information can help us begin the evaluation. A written list of symptoms also helps you describe what makes the pain worse. Bring any documents you received after the workplace event, but you can still discuss care if some records are unavailable.

Which services may follow the evaluation?

Chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation, massage therapy, neuromuscular therapies, and therapeutic exercise may follow an evaluation. The recommended mix depends on your examination findings and recovery goals. We explain each service before care begins, so you understand its role in your plan.

Why might imaging be part of the assessment?

Imaging can provide added information when examination findings call for it. Our diagnostic services include 3D X-ray technology, and we review images alongside your symptoms and examination. Imaging does not replace the health history or physical assessment, and another medical evaluation may be appropriate when findings fall outside our scope.

What changes the cost of workplace injury care?

The recommended services and diagnostic needs are the main cost factors. A plan with rehabilitation, massage therapy, or imaging differs from an adjustment-focused visit. We offer Free Consultations and discuss the care plan and insurance claim questions before treatment decisions are made.

Can you help with an insurance claim after an injury?

Yes, we assist with insurance claims after an injury. Claim rules and required records differ by case, so we review the information you bring and explain the next paperwork step. We also coordinate with personal injury attorneys and offer lawyer referrals for qualifying accident-related cases.

When is chiropractic care the wrong fit for a work injury?

Chiropractic care is the wrong fit when symptoms need urgent medical attention or fall outside our scope. Severe or unusual symptoms require prompt medical assessment. We review your history and examination findings, explain our concern, and direct you toward an appropriate next step when chiropractic treatment does not fit.
